Why I have to do this course?

The Board of Islamic Education’s curriculum comprises a total of 16 books. Studying this course will enhance your knowledge and introduce you to the fundamental teachings of Islam. You will gain a correct understanding of beliefs, worship, the rights of Allah, and the rights of fellow humans. Through knowledge, you will draw nearer to Allah and be motivated to act upon the commands that please Him, while receiving help to avoid the path of Shaitan.

The Board conducts examinations every year. Students who enrol receive a 100‑mark question paper. Those who succeed in the exam receive marks card, and those who complete the certificate and diploma in Islamic studies receive a certificate along with their mark sheets. Students who achieve state rank receive a special certificate and a prize from the State Board office.

Do you organise any contact class for students?

Yes, for students, weekend classes are conducted at the Board’s local centres, where organisers provide guidance on the lessons from the books taught in the Board’s courses and help prepare for the examinations.

What languages are the syllabus books available in?

The syllabus books are available in Urdu, English, Kannada, and Hindi. The structure remains the same across languages for consistency.

What types of courses are offered?

There are two learning paths:

  • A 2-year Certificate Course focusing on foundational learning
  • A 3-year Diploma Course designed for a deeper understanding and advanced topics
